NASM-PES

In 2012, I have added Performance Enhancement Specialist (NASM-PES) to my credentials.  Growing up as an athlete and continuing in my adult life to compete as an athlete, I realized that my passion is working with others whose goals are to improve their athletisicm.  I have been extremely successful in improving my performance and want to share what I have learned through my experiences as well as what I have been taught through NASM.

I think most people don’t understand that the ability to improve performance lies in other techniques of training that does not involve the actual sport; this is all done through the NASM OPT (Optimum Performance Training)  model.  This model is designed to create highly individualized, integrated training programs.  This is not a one size fits all, and as we know every athlete has their strengths and weeknesses.   The OPT model focuses on stabilization, strength, and power and is sub-divided into 5 phases.  Depending on the athletes adaptation to each phase, the athlete’s journey will involve moving through each focus depending on the needs of the client.    Athletes these days are expected to train at a higher level and I truly believe that I can help clients improve their performance and overall health, while avoiding injury.

FACT: Over 90% of NBA trainers hold the NASM Certification

If you are interested in this type of training program, please check out the services tab for more information.  Feel free to contact me with any questions regarding Athletic training.  I am open to many different options and services.
